Sierra Trout
I spent some time at our cabin this past weekend. We had a decent front coming through and a I knew it would get the fishing moving. Fortunately I was able to get in the Mtns before it rolled through. There is that magic window when the pressure drops and the fish start snapping. It happens with a lot species and I was lucky to be there. I jumped around to a couple of different places but settled on a small lake close to the cabin that has a unique population of wild bows. They were all over streamers and I had a great time with it. It rained good amounts at 5k elevation but seemed to be much heavier down lower. Here are a few shots of some of the fish..Nothing of great size but lots of fun.
