Carp fishin..

Continues to be good. Post spawners are seeking the warm skinny flats looking for fry, sculpins and anything else they can root up. Small light weight Clousers, Sculpin and crayfish bugs that can dropped soft are working excellent. Last outing produced 6 fish in about 3 hours. That's pretty good fishing for Carp on the fly in these parts.

A 6 fish day is a very good one for me. Exceptional actually. Good stuff.

Very nice! I'll be checking tomorrow to see if most of my local carp are done spawning...hopefully they are!

Nice, post-spawn is my absolute favorite mode when I can time it right. Does it last long in your parts? That slightly aggresive post-spawn mode only seems to last a couple of weeks here. Fortunately it happens at different times on different waters but it gets confusing.

Fish start spawning here in Feb and continue until early July. With that there is always post spawn fish and that's primarily what I target.
