Winter Bass

I would say Fall/Winter is my favorite time to be on the water. Finding them can be a little tricky, but once located it can be really good fishing. Most of the fish today were deep. 25-35', and all of them ate the same jig. Temps have really fallen the last two weeks and the fish have finally settled under bait fish in pretty good size schools. Today was in the low 60's, with light wind and a little rain it was confortable winter fishing.I was suprised there were only 3 boats on the lake today.

Hey David. I'm planning on coming over to Pleasanton for the fly fishing show on Friday February
25th and Saturday morning the
26th. You going to be there? Give me a shout at mkautz@volcano.net and maybe I can buy you coffee.
