Nice to see some different fish photos. Keep them coming.

MarkMark Kautzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03802544198629446327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8779732264661076995.post-24690793131797666732010-07-31T19:29:08.259-07:002010-07-31T19:29:08.259-07:00Thanks for the comments Linda. We are fortunate to have have the Whale migration from warmer southern Pacific waters where they give birth to the colder more fertile Eastern Pacific where they feed. They have to come through here on there way north. Monterey Bay is actually a deep sea canyon and the whales try to stay in as close as possible to shore to avoid predation on there calfs by local Killer Whales and Great White Sharks that patrol the open water over the sea canyon. I've seen lots this year.David McKenziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08513381038866640198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8779732264661076995.post-5856867944121146692010-07-31T18:30:54.387-07:002010-07-31T18:30:54.387-07:00I like how you photographed that last fish; it loo...I like how you photographed that last fish; it looks really cool! How exciting to see a whale close like that. We visited Hawaii too late (in May) to see the whale there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
